Wilma L. Crist, 65, of Somerset, Indiana, died at 1:15 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010 at her home. She was born March 25, 1944 in Logansport, Indiana, to Leonard and Lecta (Page) Piercy.

Wilma was a 1961 graduate of Royal Center High School. She married Jerry D. Crist in Winamac, Indiana, on June 3, 1961. She was co-owner along with her husband, of the Wabash B&K Rootbeer Drive-In Restaurant 20 years and also owned and operated Lovely Ladies' Beauty Salon in Logansport. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Wabash. Wilma's passion was time spent with her friends and clients at her Lovely Ladies' Beauty Salon.

She is sunrvived by her husband, Jerry D. Crist of Somerset; four children, Barry (Kimberly) Crist of Brownsburg, Indiana, Katrina Crist of Washington DC, Camille (Scott) Curry of Kokomo, Indiana, and Amy (Mike) Davis of Wabash, Indiana; two sisters, Delores (Richard) Cochran of Logansport, and Diana (Paul) Bauer of Walton, Indiana; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carrie Ann Crist, and her sister, Janette Hettinger.

Funeral services will be held at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 188 W. Sinclair Street, Wabash, on Monday, March 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Sextus Don officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery South in Pulaski County, Indiana, at 1:00 p.m. Monday. Friends may call 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash.

Preferred memorial is Wabash-Miami Home Healthcare & Hospice.
