Scott Douglas Sanders
  
Scott Douglas Sanders, 50, of Wabash, Indiana, formerly of Huntington, Indiana, died at 10:45 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born September 23, 1959 in Wabash to Elmer L. and Alice L. (Hampton) Sanders.

Scott was a 1977 graduate of Northfield High School and a US Air Force veteran. He was a union plumber for Local 166 in Fort Wayne and a NASCAR race fan.

He is survived by his mother, Alice L. Sanders of Wabash; his former wife, Susan Sanders of Huntington; two children, Nicole (Jamie) Holmes and Dustin S. (Mallory) Sanders and a grandson, Jared Holmes, all of Wabash; two sisters, Rhonda (Mike) Kendall of Wabash, Suzie (Jim) Lewis of Lagro, Indiana; brother, Lamoine Sanders of Indianapolis, Indiana; three step children, Amy (Jason) Bogart of North Webster, Indiana, Bradley Stidams of Larwill, Indiana, and Justin Stidams of Huntington; three step grandchildren, Lauren Bogart, Lucas Stidams, and Devin Stidams, all of North Webester. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer L. Sanders, who died January 12, 1998.

Funeral services will be held at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Rick Borgman officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Huntington. Friends may call 2-8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorial is Family of Scott Sanders.
