Danny McCoy, 57, of Peru, Indiana died at 12:00pm Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born June 24, 1952 in Martin, Kentucky to Daniel E. and Virginia A. (Hunt) McCoy.

Danny married Julie (Lainhart) Fetz in Bippus, Indiana on May 8, 2004. He was a Northfield High School graduate and worked at Ford Meter Box, in Wabash 24 years. Danny was member and director of Frances Slocum Saddle Club, and a former member and officer of A.B.A.T.E. (American Bikers Aim Toward Education). He loved horses, motorcycles, and his family.

He is survived by his wife, Julie McCoy of Peru; mother, Virginia A. McCoy of Wabash; 5 children, Angie Rutledge of Lagro, Indiana, Terri Lynn (Marcus) Dragoo of Wabash, Indiana, Kya Rae Fetz of Peru, Terril Fetz of Jonesboro, Indiana, and Thomas Fetz of Peru; Brother, Terry "Pete" McCoy of Wabash; Sister, Barbara (Dave) Music of Roann, Indiana; 4 Grandchildren, Jordan Dragoo, Michael Dragoo, and Brittany Dragoo, all of Wabash, Adam Rutledge of Lagro, Indiana, and 2 little buddies, Hillbilly, and Redneck. He was preceded in death by his father.

Graveside services and burial will be held at Friends Cemetery, Wabash on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 2:00pm with Rev. Charles Easterday officiating. Friends may call 4-8pm Thursday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave. Wabash.

Preferred memorial is to Danny's Daughter Kya Rae Fetz.
