This is what was supposed to be said at Scott's funeral.
Everything medically possible was done for Scott Sanders. I console myself with the fact that Scott didn’t know what hit him. He was not scared and was in no pain. He was the one who made the decision to put the ventilator tube down; the nurse said that he said that he was tired of working so hard to breath, she told him that his mother and family were notified and were on their way and he still told the nurse that he was tired and told her for them to go ahead and get it done. I console myself that he made the decision to have the ventilator tube down. He wasn’t completely knocked out when I got there and I talked to Scott and told him everything I wanted to tell and say to him, he knew what I was saying because he would shake his head. I had peace and he did too. Anybody that knew Scott knew that he was hard of hearing and I couldn’t believe that his hearing was so good when he was in the hospital.
His family traveled and stood over him while he was sick and spending hours at the hospital the family did all that they could and then it was in Gods hands. The one doctor even said to say prayers for Scott. Scott is in a better place and his struggle is over.
Scott had a lot of demons that none of us fully realized. I ask if Scott has said or done you wrong in anyway please forgive him and if you feel that you have said or did Scott wrong that you regret now please forgive yourselves because I don’t want anybody to leave here today feeling guilty. This is a day for forgiveness. We all need closure now so we can go on and know that Scott is finally at peace with himself and God. God is taking care of Scott now, I ran across his photo album that I had never looked at until yesterday. I couldn’t believe the pictures of that man. He looked so healthy and I just shook my head. I know that none of us wants to let Scott go but he will live in all of us forever. If he taught you something about building a project or about plumbing take that knowledge and pass it on to someone else and Scott will live on forever, Grant us all peace and forgiveness now.

Marvin and I are gone and not able to come to the viewing. We were looking for another obituary on line and were shocked when we saw the news about your brother. Please know that you and all of your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Susan and Scott's Family,
I was deeply saddened by the news of Scott's death. I hope that your wonderful memories of him will bring you comfort and peace at this difficult time. Always remember that those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear. You are in my thoughts and my prayers.

Scott was a good guy, he was always willing to help with anything he could. If you needed help he was right there. I could always get him to laugh whenever he was around. I think that is what I will miss the most. I look at his picture and I can still hear him laugh.
You were always so nice and Lauren loved you. She always had fun when she came to visit you and grandma Sue, Thanks for that. Scott, you will be missed and loved. REST WELL
